When EDD May Request Verification

The request concerns identity verification; it does not by itself decide whether you are eligible for benefits.
Starting in myEDD
For an online claim, begin in myEDD and follow the verification prompt connected to your claim. EDD states that its online process uses Socure directly in myEDD for unemployment, disability, and Paid Family Leave customers. Follow the instructions shown for your account rather than relying on older UI Online or pandemic-era ID.me walkthroughs.
What the Online Check Does

If Verification Does Not Resolve the Request
Read the notice or account message carefully and use the EDD contact or next-step instructions it provides.
